It started with a single idea... A single product.

This one idea led to the formation of a team with over 70 years of experience in drilling & production.   A team that truly cares about personnel safety and quality products. In an industry riddled with "me too" valve products with known problems that have been accepted as "normal", Poseidon set a course to engineer and develop products that eliminate  those  issues entirely. Many of our products were conceived with a blank sheet approach and a change in philosophy. Instead of using brute mechanical force to overcome pressure, we use pressure to our advantage to seat and seal valves. The Poseidon value proposition is crystal clear... reliability and longevity.

Our managing members team have experience working in large companies where product change is reluctant, slow, and often painful. Each of us have dealt with  aggravating delays because of unexpected product issues. We understand the frustration when it takes 3 weeks to get a quote and 16 week deliveries to get a standard  valve product from a supplier.
