Triton ACS - Accumulator Charging System

The Triton ACS - Accumulator Charging Systems is compromised of  dedicated tooling for installation (Torque Tool)  and charging (Charging Head). Torque and Charging operations have been purposely separated to provide enhanced HSE features only available with the Triton ACS system.

Both tools rely on internal hex head jacking bolts that thread into the top of the Triton ACV and lock the tool and valve together. The length of the bolts in the tools provide timing for torque and charging operations. Various aspects of required tooling provide unique and desirable HSE benefits to prevent close calls and injuries. Tooling also eliminates the ability of the user to damage the sealing mechanism resulting in a long trouble free field life.

HSE Audible Warning - prevents unscrewing a valve containing pressure.   By design the valve stem must be cracked open prior to torque dog engagement.

Triton Charging Tool

The Triton Charging Tool is unique and is required to direct incoming gas pressure through the side port on a Triton ACV.  The Triton Charging tool adapts to and provides a threaded connection for common charging kits already being used on rigs.

As an HSE feature the Charging Tool does not have torque pins so it has no ability to apply unscrewing torque to a Triton ACV.

Torque Tool adapts to current rig charging kits.
